Hi everyone-

Has anyone ever had an irregular heartbeart brought on by using Asthma inhalers (Beta antagonists)- like Xopenex etc?

I'm really rather confused! Why would anyone take an inhaler that COULD bring about (as stated on the "warning label")- bring on--irregular heatbeats--changes in EKG...(T wave changes--long Q-T)--

Just curious--If you have a "horror story" of getting an irregular heartbeat attack by using these inhalers-! I think we patients should be aware of these "dangers"! Thanks--Robert

XopenEX Inhalation Solution can cause significant heart-related side effects, such as an increase in pulse, blood pressure and/or related symptoms. If you have a heart condition, your healthcare provider will determine if XopenEX is right for you.

Hoping you are seeing a pulmonologist that is familiar with the side effects of this particular inhaled beta-agonist.

Please do discuss your concerns with your physician ASAP if you are having irregular heartbeart.

Yes, asthma inhalers can and do cause cardiac electroconducitvity disturbance. Type in a search for all drugs and medications causing cardiac electroconductivity disturbance, or arrythmia.

I removed your article due to content and topic. We have members as young as 13 years old on our site and our guidelines do not permit discussion of suicide..........even thow you posted an article it may have provided unsafe info for someone with mental health issues.
