Constrictive pericarditis & difficulty with air travel, altitude

Does anybody else with the diagnosis of constrictive pericarditis have difficulty breathing at higher altitudes even tho their symptoms are mild at sea level. I had considerable trouble at Lake Tahoe. Also difficulty with plane flights.

I have constrictive pericarditis and am affected adversely by high altitudes. Unfortunately I live near Denver at approximately 6200 ft elevation. I have all the symptoms at this level.
Earlier this summer I returned to my home town in Michigan (700 ft altitude) and the leg swelling went down dramatically. My energy level was increased and my dizziness and shortness of breath subsided substantially. Plus I slept much more soundly. I asked my Cardiologist about this and she said that there was little data on altitude and constrictive pericarditis and suggested I return to Michigan to see if the same things occurred.
