My husband had a Nuclear Stress Test last Thurs and Friday. Monday, my husband called them to see if he could get something for anxiety and sleep. (He's really having a problem with these) The doctors nurse took his message, and called him back later. She said he has to go to his GP get some meds for anxiety and sleep. She also told him his heart was too scarred to withstand a bypass. And that's all she said. Didn't tell him what they're going to do for all the arteries that are blocked. 2 in his neck, 2 in his groin, and an aneurysm in his abdomen. My question is: did she have the right to tell him anything about
the results of the test? Why did the doctor not tell him the results? Now my husband is depressed about
what she said. I asked him why he didn't ask her the other stuff, and he said he was so stunned about
what she said, he didn't think about
it. I'm really upset about
this. Any opinions?
