I am new to this site, but glad I found it. I am 43 years old, had an episode in 2010 what my Doctor then, told me was'nt a stroke. Where did this quack get his diploma from, DisneyWorld? If that person had sent me for test back then, I would'nt be sitting here right now reaching out for support. In April of 2013, I had a stroke, this one changed my life 4ever. I was sent for tests, which resulted in me having a pfo on May 8, 2014. I was told I (like everyone else) was born with a hole in the heart which is suppose to close when you leave the uteris, mine did`nt. To make a long story short, I still have these symptoms; headache, right hand is not the same as the left hand anymore, right side of face feels like it just got slapped, when I go for a walk,it feels like I`m hovering. Does anybody else have these same symptoms, if yes, will they go away. I am still in physio, take asa, rouvustatin, ramapril and clopidigrel daily, can someone tell me if there something else anything else I can do, or the proffesionals can do to get rid of these symptoms. This whole ordeal has caused me to aquire depression now, please HELP ME!
I have locked down this thread as it is quite old - started in 2008.
I restarted you a new thread so look for the topic with your name in the title.
Thank you for understanding.
