Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation(PAF): Sotalol and hospitalization to start it--anyone done this?

Absolutely don't take it till you've seen a cardiologist! The risk is for "QT Elongation(Prolongation?)",whatever that is, a possibly fatal event. She didn't read her PDR very carefully that's for sure. I'd drop that PA but fast. There are many medications to be tried before going to Sotalol, from my own understanding. You actually need an electrophysiologist cardiologist. Good luck.

And, this reminds me to update my experiences since this post (had a Pulmonary Vein Ablation, also called RF Ablation. Will try to get this done sooner than later, busy working now...
