good morning all felin lots better today really sore upper chest so went to resp had the check my lungs cause they hurt when i breath he said they were clear porably the dye or from them poking and proding for 4 hours other thanthat its a great day

Bob, I'm so glad that you had your lungs checked out!!  I can only imagine after being poked and prodded for 4 hours having all those stents put in that it must have left just a "little" soreness!?

Hi Miss Teri  here I am at work and am dropping you a quick line I seem to have such problem on my pc at home to get tothis site as it keeps saying website not found!    I bet those cute litte birdies are just adorable!

I think I might go home early just because I feel like it!

probably won't happen I am to dedicated- I have been having some cp today can't decide if I should call the cardio or not I get so tired of this I have been feeling fairly well (for a change) the nitro I have taken isn't really doing the trick perhaps it is old-- I certainly don't want to call anyone if it isn't cardiac related!!!

Hope you are doing well--miss you bunches!!

Star, That can happen...re the nitro?  When you put it under your tongue are you feeling the tingling it causes?  If not, it may be too old!  My Dr.'s are always reminding me of that.

 

I'm really trying to work with ya here on this problem your having with getting on the site...look for an email from me tonight!

Hi everyone, hope you are all enjoying spring. I've been out for walks this week with my dog. It's got up into the 50's. Tuesday I pulled my little car out of the yard and got it to the transmission place. I hope they can fix it soon. I can't afford gas for the full size van anymore. We try to fit as many things into one trip as possible. Had to put my hamster to sleep Thursday. Her chest tumor was so big it was starting to affect her breathing. I felt so bad when she was sitting there eating before I handed her over.

Heidi I'm with you on the staying young at heart thing. I'm the oldest of 5 girls and my sisters get a kick out of how child like I am at times. The kids all think I'm the funnest aunt.

Hey Teri, I got another box sent off to my son in Iraq. I talked to him Thursday. He told me that he only spends $100 a month over there so he has paid off one credit card and almost has the other one and his loan paid off. I'm so proud of him. Once those are paid they will pay off his wifes cards. His pay is doubled over there and is tax free. He plans on getting out when his time is up December 11, 2005. Talk to you all later. Hey Ya'll!!

 

I woke up to a wonderful spring day and plan to get out and at least breathe some of that fresh air in before going to the Pet Shop! tongue I'm still feeding the quartet and they're already picking at seeds, so it won't be long and they'll be on their own!

 

Barb, it's wonderful to hear from you!! yeah I'm so sorry about your little guy!~it's always hard to part with one's pets, as it doesn't matter how big or small they are, they're a part of our family and a big chunk of our hearts!  I heard that Wis. weather was warming up some the past few days, but I also heard it would be cooling off a bit, too...

 

Star and BC, I hope you're both feeling better?!  You both haven't said a whole lot lately, but I know BC that you've undergone a lot recently with some stenting and Star, with all your back problems and recent return of heart problems...I wish you both only the best and please let me know how you're doing, Please?!  confused

Oh don't remind me about the cooling off thing. I just wish it would stay warm. I went for a nice long walk today with my hubby and dog. Tomorrow it will be almost 60 so want to give my dog a bath and put her in the sun to dry. She loves to lay in the warm sun. I'm hopeing to get my van washed too. It's quite a job. I take a mop with a bucket of hot water and murphys oil soap and clean it that way. Good exercise plus you get to be outside. I'm going to get my bike out and get it ready to ride. Talk to you later. We're having another beautiful spring day and my husband planted the pink salvia gregi this afternoon that we bought last weekend  tongue   did a bit of shopping~in between I fed the cockatiel quartet that will be returning to the pet shop tomorrow afternoon and we are now just relaxing!! yeah

 

My daughter went on a weekend college campus visit and will be returning tonight-she wants to go to this college that's about 7 hours away from home!  Talk about far away. :(

Good Morning Miss Teri  I am at work- so this should be kinda short just tolet you know we had a "Blizzard" at my house with snow waist high in the driveway and all around the house we have had no poser for 2 days--

I finally got out to my daughters and I stayed there last night so I could take a shouwer and come to work! Leftmy husband at home to fight the flooding in the basement (he hooked up a generator to the sub-pump)

I will send you an e-mail when I get power! 

My nito still geves me a "rush" when I take it--now how can it get old when I am always using it LOL! Seriously, I hadn't used it since January- I thought I might have to go to ER last Thursday -but I decided since the last two times in the cath lab were for not-I was not going to be sent there again without having anouther blockage-but how I tell ya got me!  LOL I have to go for my traction

Hi Everyone,

 

The cockatiel quartet is leaving momentarily back to the Pet Store today and in about a week or so, I'll start feeding my tiel baby of 1 since so far the other 2 eggs didn't hatch.

 

Last night and yesterday had a rocky road with angina and have a call in to my Dr.'s nurse today.  We know mine are caused from small vessel disease and that my vein grafts are open, since I just had the cath done 2 wks. ago...But it sure is a nuisance.

Rob, congratulations to you~and you take care as well!  yeah

 

Star, my goodness, I'm sorry to hear about all that snow~Yikes!  I've thinking about ya and hoping you were well?!  Please take care, friend!

Miss Teri I am going to leave eary today to take some food to everyone at my house--I am told we won't be hooked back up until tomorrow night-YUK!-- Some April Fool Joke HUH???

Been having some cp again today I hope it is nothing--I talked with my ortho and am stopping the traction for my cervical herniation because of the pain it is causing--
enough said talk at ya when I can!

Hi Star!

 

Sure sounds like you've been going through the 'works' lately~I'm hoping you get helped in at least one area soon!  Is there a chance that you may need surgery on your cervical area??  I know you won't see this til morning, perhaps if you get a peek from work, but I just wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you!!

Miss Teri HI!!  Here I am at work propping my eyelids open with toothpicks!  LOL!  We still have no power it has been since late Friday- I have been going to  my daughter's house but I don't sleep there very well - that is because I am so worried about not getting up in time!  But of course I was 10 minutes late this am.

I am not contemplating a cervical surgery-I am hoping when I stop the traction it will calm down- Almost all of the left sided numbness is gone!!!  Tomorrow is my day off-thank goodness--I have decided to stay at home tonight power or not! that is unless it snows again!

I don't think I am a good candidate for any surgery! How are you doing?  Are you feeling any better?

Star, I'm so glad that your symptoms have eased up some for you~let's hope it continues this way...does that mean that your face numbness and tingling has gone??~Are ya'll expecting more snow?  EEk! tongue

 

BC!  I guess we posted at the same time last night and I didn't see yours~sorry!  I'm happy to see you posting, are you feeling better??  Did your Dr. say you could mow your lawn again??  If not I'll squeal on ya! :)  Please take care of yourself!!

BC, I'd never ignore you, but I may have to call 911 if your really mowed your lawn!? yeah    Are you feeling okay??

 

We're all doing pretty good, just had an unscheduled checkup with my cardiac Dr.'s PA and we're doubling my dosage of my nitro patch.  So far that's working! tongue Britt's doing great, went off for a college visit down on the gulf last weekend, and that's pretty much where she's decided to go!  Mom think's it's too far away, but she's insisting she'll be 18 by then and ready to leave the nest. :)  Hubby and son are doing well, too!

Heidi, that sounds terrific!!~though I must admit a bit scary for someone not in the best of health (like me! tongue ).  I'm thinking I wouldn't be repeling down much of anything! lol 

 

You will have to keep us posted on this new challenge of yours and I hope you will be careful, but that you make it through the course-WooHoo!!

Hi Every one, I've been out walking every day this week. Started doing my back and tummy exercises again because my back was hurting so bad. It seems to have helped some. I need to lose weight again to get the pressure off that deteriorateing disk. We've been having beautiful spring days in Wisconsin. Our snow is all melted and grass is starting to turn green in places. I even saw some of the flowers are starting to come up.

As far as my health I'm having some problems with breathing here and there so don't know if my stent is starting to close or if it's the asthma. If it continues they may have to do the stress test sooner. Well off to work for the night. Talk to you tomorrow. Barb tongue

Good Job, Barb!-it's great to hear that you are really sticking to this exercise regimen!

 

When you get this SOB, are you having any other symptoms?, arm pain or shoulder pain, chest tightness, wheezing?

 

This is the season for allergies if you are prone to them, but with heart disease it's nothing to play with!  Please get it checked out, okay?!

My chest gets a little tight, but that's how my asthma is and I do have alergies. My asthma is mostly brought on when I exercise. It usually happens when bike rideing or skiing but have had it a few times when walking and hikeing. The asthma really complicates things as you know. If I have any more problems with it I'll have it checked out. I might try riding my bike this afternoon uptown to get my check. So I'll see how things go with that. Want to get a walk in today with my hubby and pup too. Oh so much to do and so little time. I'm going to take a nap now, just got home from work. I've been trying hard to get more sleep. Barb, are using/trying your Albuterol Inhalor with this 'chest tightness'-to see if it helps?  I hope you feel well soon-keep me posted! yeah

 

I've been on (2) .2mg. nitro patches now for 2 (24 hour) days and nights and so far no headaches.  I'm a bit tired, but feeling overall just fine-but best of all, still no angina in 2 days, with or without activity!! 

 

I hope everyone is doing well!?
