EF (ejection fraction) and stem cell therapy

Hi,

My EF is falling of the chart.  My history is; MI in 2000, EF reduced to 55%.

In 2010 I had a fainting incident and testing revealed my EF had lowered to 35%.  An ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrilator) was installed and additional drugs prescribed.  Carveldilol (sp?).  In April this year an echocardiogram revealed my EF is now 21%.

Does anyone know if the new stem cell therapy for cardiovascular renewal is available anywhere?  And if so does it work?

  Roy. I understand how you feel.When I was in treatment for breast cancer in 2006,my EF fell to 28%.I was too weak to walk to the mailbox.Dr stopped treatments and sent me to the cardiologest.I was put on Coreg also and was told I have to take it for life.It took 2 years  but my  EF rose up to 58%.I don't know about the stem cell,just wanted to give you hope.I wish you the best.
