STRESS TEST RESULTS

     Thanks for your prayers and replies here.  I still don't know what's going on with CP on and off. It's not that bad.  If it keeps up I'll call cardio.  Teri you know everytime I'm admitted in the hospital they do a chest x-ray and chest CT.  Everything was supposedly normal.  Go figure.  I'll keep you posted.

    You know 2 weeks before I had the heart cath.  At another hospital they did a CT with contrast that they deemed normal and told me I had GERD, low and behold 16 days later I had a 75% and 80% blockages in my RCA.  Go figure.  I know for a fact that I have scarring on my right lung.  So maybe they saw something different????? I don't know but I must get to the bottom of this.

Les, yes, I've always preferred the bypass club as doesn't it sound like someone's had a head of cabbage or something? lol  I had an emergency triple bypass last year in Aug. '04 during a stent placement.  That section of the artery was a bit too calcified.  You had a triple, yes?  I was moderating then and just took the week off and the day I got home was back being a mod again...everyone told me to go to bed and rest, but I've had more luck staying out of the bed most days! lol  I have left sided heart Failure and went into right sided heart failure during the surgery, then had a stroke-not anything that I'd recommend ...so about a week or two ago it the HF struck again after over doing.  So sometimes, I do have to rest more, but other days I volunteer at a pet shop and work with the exotic birds, training and socializing them.  Plus I breed and raise cockatiels myself.  I healed fairly quickly, how bout you??  Do you continue to have problems, or are you healing okay?  When did you have yours again?

MaryMe, I swear I started to read this and I thought you meant "some crazy woman", like a neighbor or something! ROFL

What is that scarring on your lung from...??  I meant to ask you that earlier.

I don't know what to tell you MaryMe!!  I feel badly that your Dr.'s can't seem to find the problem...Perhaps it's small vessel disease?  You cannot see it on any of the normal scans that they do...it's basically by history and the fact that you have CAD to begin with in the main corornary arteries. 

Make sure you get it checked out and let us know?!

Hiya Mary Me!  I'm really glad that you got that script for the Nitro!!  I know it makes me happy to have it, even when it gets old and I never use it...cuz there have been plenty of times the chest tightening came on without me expecting it!  Your cardio will probably say, 'didn't I already give you a script for that?!' lol

Star, I am so sorry to hear about your Aunt, my condolences to you and your family.

Gosh you are having a lot on your plate this past year-to say the least!  I really wish you all the best and that your Dr.'s are able to help you!  You'll never guess, oh, twin oh mine??  I have a cyst on a my liver as well!!  They said not to worry about it and so far til you mentioned it, I haven't. lol
