Hey ! Thanks for the support! The event monitor caught a bunch of
Pvcs and runs of pvcs. Still I do not wanna take anything. I am getting what I Beleive are couplets and they are so strong and frightening. Bigeminy is so frustrating its like how does this stuff even occur for no reason! It's great that ur learning to cope with them, I am trying to to. There are days when I barely acknowledge them and days where it's terrible.

I’m a 38 year old male who has been suffering on and off with pvc’s/pacs for about 8 years. First off, I want to say that one of the things that has most helped me deal with the condition has been taking comfort in the advice of others in forums like this. So thank you to all contributors. Though I can’t completely figure what causes them to come or go (when dealing with them I’ll have them for 4-5 months then none for the same amount of time. Usually 2-3 per minute) I have noticed certain trends and triggers. When dealing with them I have to be careful to avoid alcohol, caffeine, and high GI foods that spike my blood sugar. Also having insufficient or disrupted sleep for a couple of days will definitely bring them on. When not dealing with them, these don’t seem to be an issue. Smoking marijuana seems to bring them on as well, which is one of many reasons I no longer do so.

Things that help: exercise, going outside for a walk, eating healthy, and getting proper sleep. I read about magnesium in one of the forums and started taking it in the beginning of the year. I do believe it helps but I can't be certain. I take 250mg of magnesium citrate in tablet form daily. Nothing fancy, just the cvs brand. If I am having a bad bout I take a water soluble magnesium potassium powder with 350mg of magnesium called “Natural Calm plus calcium”. This will lessen their frequency.

I have gotten the holter monitor, stress test, echocardiogram battery of tests a couple of times and the cardiologists says the same thing, “You’re fine, don’t worry”. The cardiologist did mention they only consider it to be an issue when it represents 20% or more of your beats, which I figure means 14 or more per minute. When at their worst it may be 7 a minute for me.

I am writing this from a good place as they have abated for the past 4 months. But I know they’ll come again. It’s okay. They’re annoying, stressful, and suck up a lot of mental energy but they will not kill you. If I find a definitive answer for kicking them for good, I’ll report back again. Otherwise hang in there friends, I may need your advice during one of the tough days.

Glad your PVC's have calmed down!!
For the past month mine have been virtually non existant,and I'm not sure why as I'm 38 weeks pregnant!
I'm not complaining though, its like heaven!
If you ever need advise or just to have a moan about pvc's, just post on here!
I'll be around somewhere! Lol! :-)

I am a 57 y.o. woman with occasional bouts of PVCs. The worst ones usually occur when relaxing before bed, and this is very common. It's like being in an airplane with turbulence: it feels so scary and serious but is common and usually not worrisome. My heart has checked out as very healthy, other than some bradycardia. However, I am a runner and just can't seem to run very far at all this past year, and my pace has slowed by close to a minute/mile, even when my HR is normal. Do PVCs seem to tire anyone else out?

I don't know what happened to my previous posts, but I am a 56-year-old male who started experiencing PVCs about 3 years ago. They would go away for months at a time, but in March, they came back and I experienced them every day. Some were mild, some were strong, but I would get them every day. Only exercise made them go away for several hours at a time, but they would always return. I made two separate trips to the emergency room, only to be told there was nothing that could be done. Wore a Holter monitor for 2 weeks on 2 separate occasions. Went to a cardiologist, and had blood tests done. My heart is fine, but I went on a low carb diet for slightly elevated cholesterol and blood glucose. Nothing seemed to help, until I decided to go to a chiropractor. I used to go regularly in my 30's & 40's for back issues, but stopped after those issues went away.
The day after my first chiropractic adjustment, the PVCs went away for more than 3 days! I go once a week, and after my 5th adjustment, they have been completely absent for the last 3 weeks. I think it even surprised the chiropractor! My issue seems to have been musculoskeletal. If you think yours may be, I suggest giving it a try. I feel great, and can exercise without restriction. I also do prescribed exercises and stretches just to make sure they don't return. I hope this helps others.

I have pvc and they are driving me crazy. I really have problems going too sleep. I don't know what to do.

Hello all!
I am brand new to this forum. However, I did read all the postings on this topic before I joined.
I cannot even BEGIN to express how relieved I am to know I am not ALONE in this battle.
I am 38 yrs old, slightly obese (loosing weight), I have GERD, GAD, some PTSD, and slight OCD. I have been experiencing pvcs for almost 2 years now. Had every test possible for cardiac and NOTHING comes back wrong. Just benign pvcs. Doctor said everything is normal and to just ignore them! Seriously??? What was he thinking??? It seems like my anxiety has taken over my entire life! I have fear of almost EVERYTHING, I am always tired, I get sick or feel sick just about daily, this is not me.
I currently take 10mg 3xday of buspirone for the anxiety. The anxiety isn't gone but it takes the edge off. Side affects are minimal. I get a racing heart rate most days and I am obsessed with feeling my pulse in my neck. I feel EVERY pvc and it drives me in sane. Been to the ER MULTIPLE times, it's to the point now they just look at me and say your fine go home.
I hate feeling like an alien and I feel like I am messing up my 3 kids and husbands life by not every wanting to do anything or changing my mind at the last minute.
Any suggestions?

I have constant pvc's and my cardio and ep doc's both say my heart is structurally okay so it shouldn't hurt my heart! was told I have bigeminy which I had an ablation for but it didn't work, anyone else had this done.

I was having PVCs after surviving idiopathic pericarditis (needed surgery, had complications - in and out of hospital over a period of 6 months). I was trying everything I could think of - taking l-arginine and l-carnitine helped reduce them but they were still showing up, especially after eating. Finally, I started following a no oil, whole food plant based diet. I also limit sugar and flour, but I won't give up caffeine! I am thrilled to say that the PVCs are gone. It's been months since I've had an episode. I don't know if this will help everyone, but I have to say I am so relieved that I no longer have to deal with my heart jumping around and at times racing.

Hi there,
I am a new member and also suffer from debilitating PVC's. It's a vicious circle, the pvc's start and then anxiety sets in and increases the pvc's . Seems like a no win situation sad
