My first visit stank stunk wahtever yuo want to call it  my thyroid hormones are all ok except one thing my nodules on my thyroid are really geting to be big and have grown alot that can explain my weight gain up to 150 from 130 and that is bad then  my throat feels full and like my voice is hoarse to adn it feels like a bunch of phlemg in it. so i see the head of all endocringology on Sept 28th at 8:30 am. update then.

I se my PCP tomorrow and will updat when I get back from her.

I want to scream what have I 've done to get this falling apart is part of growing old by i am, doing it alot more now and i hate it. I am in tears over it.

Heidi, you go ahead and have yourself a good cry!! Then wipe the tears and draw up that strength of yours from within and keep on keeping on!! I don't know why this is happening all at once, but I know how strong your spirit is - you are an inspiration!!

feel well, if not physically at least emotionally!  i know how hard

it is to have one without the other.  but please know i'm in texas

and pulling for you.  times can get mighty tough.  but you can't

get rid of your friends!

Heidi, I just got on this morning after my trip up north and saw your message. I'm thinking about you my friend, and hope that your dr.'s visit goes well! I hate to see you so upset, but it's normal to feel that way. Let me say ditto to what others said about allowing yourself to cry. It's perfectly expected that you'd feel like screaming, too.

I'm back home. Did not get back until last night.I was too pooped to participate, but will check in on chat tonight to see if anyone is in. On my way to work. Have a long day ahead of me, so will not be back until later. I also want to hit the gym. Kathy

Thnaks I'll check in after I see my PCP  my knee bruise is almost gone but show her my knee then also ask her for a tewt I think kidney or yeast infection or both. UCk

I have had a good cry then said,"Ok God I need you major big time now " and now it is in Gods hands and I will do what I can do and also lok up some eating plans like macrobiotic diet too.

I wonder if aldactone can make tumors grow in rats a can also make my nodules grow in my thyroid since I have hypo and that dreaded hashimotosthyrroiditis .

ook I got good news with my numbers from being on my Lipitor only 4 months

HDL is 44 need to bring it up some

LDL is 60

Tri's are 63

Total is 117 down from 279 4 months ago. Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have a kidney,baldder infection and yeast and  she told me that is a new one on her for Aldactone but she will lok into it further  and she will callme Mon  with the results of my Mammogram just call and remind her mon Am to call me. I am gald this week is over and no vists yet in augiust.

Well gtoing ot go rest some.'

WooHoo Heidi!!! Terrific #'s!! With you watching your diet and the aid of Lipitor, you've done a wonderful job of bringing those cholesterol/tri #'s down!

I just received word that Heidi and her husband have lost another dear pet of theirs. Heidi takes in abused and neglected pets and gives them all the love in the world. So several of her pets have either grown old, or have had illnesses that have shortened their lives, but this is her 3rd loss of a pet and friend in the past couple of months.

Heidi, my heart and love go out to you and your husband. Please remember that they had a wonderful life with you and they are all at "Rainbow Bridge" now with their other friends. You are the bestest, my friend!

Great numbers!! - I'm so glad you have good news today. Did you just say you're DONE for the week? Do you mean you already had the mammogram, etc? I thought that was 28th!?!?

I'll do my best to be there, Teri. A large part of the problem I'm having posting, AHEM! is that my phone connection keeps cutting out. Makes it darn challenging to TALK on the phone too. Phone guy came out this afternoon and found nothing..... eyes
It's been such a strange day. I had mixed up my dates, thinking my PCP appt was the 28th, but found out it was today & got there in the nick of time. Had to get stuck for blood again because they didn't draw enough for the tests last time. Trying to figure out why my hemoglobin is so high at 16.4. My PCP was out of town, and I saw a different Doc. This is a good thing, because lately my PCP and I haven't seen eye-to-eye. Had another EKG, which they repeated 4 times and decided it was same as last time. And - Teri, do you have this happen? - Had to say NO several times - Doc wanted to send me to ER via ambulance. This happened also the last time I saw someone other than my PCP. Reason: I had asked for a refill on my nitro scrip...then the questions on chest pain, etc.....yes, but not this minute. No, it's NOT an emergency, yes - about every day since January...No, I'm NOT going to the ER, I would have to go live there if I went every time....yada, yada. Do any of you ever have this happen? Boy, it sure leaves you with an unsettling feeling. Have they really not ever heard of chest pain that doesn't mean you are having a heart attack? Or is this some kind of liability thing?

Well, in most cases angina is a symptom that the heart muscle isn't receiving enough blood/oxygen - one of the reasons for this is due to blockages so they do not want to take a chance on your life! Yes, I have had this happen, too many times, and most of the time, I went in and had a cath done, only to find out that, I needed angioplasty or a stent. So, Oona, please take care!! Unless you have been diagnosed and told that this isn't what is wrong with you?

oona - i say that constantly:  if i went to the ER every time i had chest pain, i'd just have to set up camp out there.  it's a tough, tough call -

heidi, your hard news is so hard, about your furkid.  i am so so sorry.

but i'm glad you had good news too, great news, with your cholesterol numbers.  i'm jealous!  wish i could take lipitor, it seems to do the trick for everyone -

and tomorrow is FINALLY your big day.  i'm going to say an extra prayer for you tonight for good results - let us hear asap!

Yep tommorow at 1:20 is my mammogram and  yu wear a tery cloth robe too. I asked  my Doctor and she said they fax over the request the day of the appoinment I just hope it is their and will be faxed over or else this  nice litle quiet person is liable to hit high C or start bawling like a baby.

Yes it is hard. Hooch was our sons dag we had since 5 weks old and he wuld of been 14 this Sept died of a broken heart he is buried right next to Beau out in the pet cementry too.

I am holding up through it all. when yuo rescue poets and especially older pets or pets theyare aut ready to be  pt down yulove them when yuo canand give them alot of love adn they take  a pice of yuor heart with them and then they leave yuo with memories and a piece fotheir heart too. I say now please no more pets ging tot he bridge I still have 6 cats 2 are 18 one is 16 2 are 10 and one 6. Well I have to go pay bills and do some shopping today too.

Hi Everyone!

I'm running on the back burner today - was cleaning floors too late last night...it's the best time though when everyone's in bed! :) I'm going into the pet store this afternoon briefly to get BabyToo's nails trimmed and a weight check to make sure he's growing okay! ROFL I've lost weight! - the bird is the happiest, plumpest bird in central Tx.!! :)

I found out that the pain specialist for my nerve pain is out of network and had planned to use steroid injections in my back. I've had many of those types of injections in the past and they never seemed to work very well - I called my Dr. and they are going to research this more - and see if the Neuronton that my Neuro Dr. had mentioned, or pain med.'s as needed would be a better solution.

test is at 1 pm and wilnot getn results till Monday maybe Tues  my Doctor told me 24-48 huors after it is done but call her and get word to her to please call me withthe results.

Hey I go for the breast piching machine and  what ever they seem fit for my right breast with the mass in it. MY PCP told me to call her Mon am and remind her to call me witht he results and options or next step if needed and she will call me back within 24-48 hours. THis is also a breast cancer  center too so they have alot of mamograms to gothrough. gosh I hope and praying for good news too come ongals they give yu terry cloth robes with big huge pockets too to wear in their at least yuo wilnot be cold.

I hope they faxed over the ordder I will call and find out too.Ifnnot I am libale to break down and cry. I have back ups too that can help if needed and also people in the media we got o church with including one of uor many state attorney's I am tired of being miss nice to these people.

I'll be gone again this weekend up to my mom's in central MI. We say "up north" but it's really not northern MI. Her foot is abou the same, no cast, she can walk on it if she has to go to the bathroom, and it's hard to keep her down. We did a few photos last weekend. We have to get a better plan, though, because we were getting confused about what to do with some. I have a plan now I think. Have a good, safe and healthy weekend! I'm thinking about Lil and hope her procedure goes well. Hugs, Kathy
