First of all, welcome to HealingWell. Good to see you working and overcoming these things.
Do they know what caused the strokes?
What kind of seizures do you experience, are they related to the stroke?
Apnea, this in itself can cause heart rhythm issues and it can exacerbate problems with seizures from poor sleep cycles. Do you use a C-Pap? There are more passive things they do to help keep the airway
open as well.
Paliptations. How many. Dozens, hundreds, thousands? It doesn't matter, I'm just curious, many of us dislike even a few, others are undisturbed by thousands.
Supplements can help, but they can hurt as well, such as making seizures worse or in some people, making palpitations more frequent. While we're on that topic, do you drink coffee with caffeine? Too much, and in some people, it doesn't take much, this can cause palpitations as well.
The tightness in your throat, have you brought this to your doctor's attention, this and the lump.
You said "at work i feel like I'm shaking very much", what do you attribute this too and how long has it been occurring.
Your case is complex, as is mine, so keep up the spirits. Memory problems, being exhausted, palpitations, they can be from several things, including sleep apnea.
Now, Diltiazem is a Calcium Channel Blocker. Beta Blockers, like Metaprolol, function by blocking the effect of adrenaline on your system. The body has two systems with significant effects on the heart, the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Systems. Beta Blockers block the sympathetic system and reduce heart rate and contractile force of the heart. That ability to block the sympathetic system, I have read, is more effective at reducing how we perceive our heart than a Calcium Channel Blocker would be. I've read of people being switched from a Beta Blocker to a Calcium Channel Blocker and complaining how hard their heart feels like it's beating. Calcium Channel Blockers and Beta Blockers both control rate, but talk with your doctor, switching back to a Beta Blocker may give you more relief. There are a variety of Beta Blockers on the market, perhaps a different one could help.
God Bless You as well. We'll check back for your response (me and other HealingWell members).
