Echocardiogram report

Hi, I'm daniel and a big hello to everyone!!

I recently got my echocardiogram report which I had done in October.Be great if somebody can go through it and tell me what's going on.Detection of MR & TR is concerning me.Is this dangerous? It's causing me great anxiety.

SUMMARY/CONCLUSION

ECG- Sinus Bradycardia with sinus arrhythmia.

LV cavity size and wall thickness are normal. Good LV systolic function. LA is normal size. AV is is thin and mobile. 3 cusps imaged. Aortic measurements obtained are normal.
MV is thin and mobile. A trace of MR detected.
Right heart is normal size with good RV function.
TV is thin and mobile. A trace of TR detected.
PV flow velocity is normal. IVC not imaged.

dan, anxiety leads to panic, and the ticker always seems to cop it. it works faster as we are pushing stacks of adrenalin. it is a vicious cycle, got to break it. coping skills really help, breathing exercises are real good, simple large gut breath, hold and release very slow. ice in hands for 30 seconds is good for panic attacks. check out the panic anxiety forum as well, good info there. listen to your cardiologist, not others, the net and for pete's sake, never dr. google!!! you will dx yourself with everything.

I'm 28 there's no first degree family heart problems,I don't play any sports like football/soccer or rugby etc i dont/never have smoked,I drink alcohol in moderation no more than 5 normal sized bottles of lager a week I don't have fizzy drinks or tea/coffee I only drink decaf green tea/herbal.I don't eat meat or dairy products,I become vegetarian a couple years back.I go for long walks with my dog daily for at least an hour,I'm very conscious of my health and I'm always worrying and getting stressed out easily.Over the past 3 months I've called out 7 or 8 ambulances and I know I shouldn't I hate myself for doing it but at the time I thought i was going to die and I couldn't cope with it, there was all sorts of symptoms coming on at once like tachycardia,palpitations,sob,feeling faint etc and physiological symptoms like "impending doom" and everything around me felt like it was closing in on me and I was experiencing this every night it was horrible,and over that time period I've had numerous test done I've had 6 blood tests including 2 cardiac enzyme tests all of them were normal,about 15 + ecgs (1 shown a tiny curve in my R-Wave and another shown elevated T-Wave and 2 more shown sinus bradycardia,doctors don't seemed concerned about these) other than that they've all been normal,3 chest x-rays which again were normal and this echocardiogram which I'm starting to accept as normal and I'm having a 24h heart trace later this month and I'm seeing a cardiologist on the 4th of feb..I had a 24h heart trace in 2011 which recorded 968 bradycardic beats (37 the lowest) which was probably during sleep but a doctor told me it's still to low even when asleep and 6 SVEs.

Daniel, this is classic anxiety. You are 28 years old and live a healthy lifestyle. Even if you have a genetic predisposition to heart disease (i'm not saying that you do) its highly unlikely that you would have heart disease at your age.
I'm not a doctor, just a guy on the internet, so dont take this as medical advice.

When i was your age, a little older actually, early 30's, i had similar feelings. I was getting irregular heartbeats, sometimes my heart felt like it was going to explode out of my chest. I would get naseau violent vomiting, cold sweats and just a feeling of general anxiety, like the world was closing in on me. I saw multiple Drs and all concluded it was psychosomatic. My mom had died just about 6 months prior to the beginning of this, and i think it had a lot to do with it.

Anyway, i sought out a good Psychologist, and saw him for about a year. It helped me get things under control. I still have a little more anxiety than i'd like when it comes to my health, but its more or less under control.

I would strongly urge you, assuming your tests show nothing alarming, to see a psychologist or psychiatrist. It doesn't mean your nuts. There is just likely some underlying thing on your mind that is causing this anxiety, and getting to the bottom of it, and understanding it would help you immensely. I hope you are still here and reading this thread.

Your anxiety over your health is interfering with your quality of life. This is no way for a 28 year old to live, its important for you to do something about it. You've got a whole life ahead of you, and you are in your prime. You should be enjoying and savoring every moment, not spending it worrying that you are going to drop dead every minute.

I truly hope you think long and hard about this and take proactive measures to address your issue.
