Strayidog, thanks for the reply. Yes, I have, and always research everything the doctor prescribes. The propranolol (only prescription I take), does cause shortness of breath as well as a cough. It was prescribed by my primary care doctor, and I have spoke to him about it, but he’s just a pill pushing dunderhead. I don’t notice anything until the end of my winter route hike, which is up a steep hill. Since it’s been so cold the last couple of weeks, I’ve been on the tread mill, and I am going to gradually raise the incline on it, with hopes of gradually getting acclimated to the extra exertion. I was hoping there may be a different type beta blocker I could take??? I like not having the headaches, so I am going to stay on them.
