I had a heart attack (left vertical) 29 yrs ago. I was put on Amiadarome for a few yrs for palpitations/skipped beats but have stopped it for 9 yrs since it gave me hyperthyroidism. I now have a defribulator and was shocked 3x in 2 years. I have a lot of fluttering and many quick rapid beats in the left ventrical but now I feel the other part of my heart stop beating for 4 or 5 seconds, I get a squeezing feeling, loss of breath and get lightheaded. They checked my device and said I have a lot of irregularities but nothing critical. This is a new symptoms for me. EKG, stress test all fine. My primary Dr gave me Amidarome again and said take it since my thyroid is under control. The defribulator Dr said I never should have been given that drug at that time and it’s for late stages. I am already on Anxiety meds but it only makes me less anxious when it happens. I am afraid to exercise.. Other then getting a Holitor Monitor.. Any suggestions? Pills? Ablation? Anything to ask my Dr?
