Hi Curious, if I read your post correctly you will be seeing your cardiologist to get the results of your recent echo. Make a list of questions to ask the dr, especially about any treatment plan. Ask how the dr intends to monitor your situation. Be sure to let the dr know about your current symptoms.
If the dr does not take the time to answer your questions, get another opinion. I have been under the care of them for 39 years. I am in a group of them. I saw one that I did not like & stayed with him for about 7 years. Because of my dislike I started canceling my appts because I did not like him. One day I was having an echo done & the tech commented, you are late getting your test done, what's going on? I said I don't like the dr & now dread coming here, so I put it off. He said change to another one in the group it's allowed. So, that is exactly what I did & I no longer put off my appts.
Let us know what you find out.
