Well, your BP seems fine and all the other tests were OK...... I don't think you need to rush to another ER.
See your own doctor without waiting too long.
However if your symptoms change in any way for the worse, then you would want to take other action.
Not being a doctor, I don't know what to make of your symptom mix.
Normally if there numbness would either be above or below your neck....given where the nerves go. But in your case you have face and arm numbness. Thats why stroke was a concern, but they've mostly checked you out for that.
If it were some weird inner ear thing, I don't see how that would make your arm numb.
OH well, thats why we have doctors instead of just internet forums.
Lets us know what develops. You were wise to go to the ER.
BTW, its not impossible this will all go away by itself.
However, if you get any new "one side" symptoms, then I wouldn't hesitate to go back to the ER.
Especially if its something like darkness or reduced vision in one eye only. IF you lose vision in one eye get to emergency room right away.
UPDATE: Same symptoms, different day. I decided to re-peat my visiting to yet another local ER. This time, I figured I would visit the city's so-called Heart expert - or at least the one that supposedly is best at cardiac and stroke work. Long story short, after 11 hours in their ER, X-rays, many EKGs (12-lead), blood work x3, and continuous monitoring the entire time, I finally think they got it right. They diagnosed me with Costochronitis, a kind of annoying litle disturbance of the muscle and/or tissues surrounding the rib cage in vicinity of (you guessed it) the heart. See this story for some humor on the subject http://quixoticoptimism.typepad.com/qo/2004/03/index.html
Well, anyway, it looks much better for me this week than it did before my last ER visit where they FINALLY diagnosed Costochronitis. Three (3) 800mg motrins a day, and the irritation seems to be going away. Imagine that. Bye bye stress. Back to the jogging circuit.
Good news. Thank you God.
