Hi all,
Well I try real hard not to scare myself to death---but this morning I was just siting ans talking to someone. My heart started beating a little fast and then all of a sudden there was a big thump. The pain in the middle of my chest was REALLY bad for about 10 minutes. I could hardly think or talk. It just radiated across my chest, upper arms, face and neck. It was hard to concenrate! The pain finally subsided but I could still fell my heart beating and it felt like I had gotten a shot of caffine. I was trying to have a conversation and simultaneously decidind if I needed to go to the ER. (I haven't gone---yet) about a half an hour later I still had pain across my chest in a band from arm pit to arm pit. I felt shakey and cold and then the whole upper quadrant of my chest hurt for hours. It's some better now. But my whole chest still hurts and that place in the middle right under my bra. I do NOT want to go to the ER!!!! I have had EKGs, CT scan, echo cardiograms, carotid artery tests----all negative, of course. I was diagnosed with MVP/Dysautonomia years ago---so I keep telling myself that that's what it is---but man!-----it's scary. Does anyone have this happen to them??????
