Cardiac Ablation

My girlfriend had a cardiac ablation for arythmias. Also taking meds. Seemed to work for a while but now having PAC's. Is anyone familiar with the defibillator implant to help resolve these PAC's? Thanks.

the defib's are not used for that arrythmia, at this point in technology unfortunatly, they are only designed to respond to a heart rate the md programs into it. like if your heart rate goes up to 200, then you get a shock. Pac's are usually benign and not usually treated

I had a cardiac ablation also, it helped some but not 100%

The only known treatment i know, for this is a beta blocker
I take low dosage of 25 mg 2x's per day
Also have her stay away from anything with caffeine

Maybe her cardiologist needs to work with her to find a medication
that works well. I had that problem until they found the right one.
I still at times experience PAC'S but nothing that requires a trip to the ER
