Pericardiectomy

Hi

This is my first post.

My wife had a Pericardiectomy 3 years ago.  She has recently started coughing a lot, there does not seem to be an infection.  The coughing has resulted in severe bruising around the lower stomach has anyone else suffered this.  how do you stop the coughing?
