Hi, I am a 46 yr female and over the past year or so and becoming more frequent, I have been having chest burning with any kind of stair climbing or hill walking or running. I went to my doctor and she had me take a stress echo. The findings are as follows.
Wall motion after exercise: Each segment of the left ventricle showed improved wall motion following exercise, except distal anterior septal (and ?apical inferior) hypokinesis developed.
1. Evidence of distal anterior cardiac ischemia at full workload.
2. Resting hypertension and very mild aortic insufficiency.
EF 70%
What I would like to know is does this mean I am going to have a problem in the future...do I need to see the cardiologist or can I just wait and watch. I guess I want to know is this a bad problem?
My other died at age 56 of heart failure, she had a triple bipass and bifems done 4 years before that..
