Worse Before Better

I am 3 weeks after an ablation and I seem to be getting worse again. I am starting to have more palpatations. I have that burning feling in my chest with pressure if I start to feel emotional and hold it back. That is what used to cause me to faint. Has anyone else experienced getting worse before getting better from the ablation?

Hey there, from what I know through working with cardiologists it is not unusual for the heart to act finicky in the few months after the procedure.

It would be a good idea to give your doctor's office a call just to be sure he/she is aware of what you're experiencing.

I am sure you will be hearing from other members that have had the procedure.

Hi its me again. had my ablation a few weeks ago remember I was ablated 6o times! Well I went back for my check up they did an ekg and said everything looked fine,but I mentioned my lightheadedness and weird chest stuff and they said it will take a while... and to give it 3 months.. and if I havent had an svt episode then everything should be good to go... I guess we have to give it more time..good luck!
