Hi again, Barb! :) If they took a biopsy, it would be because they saw a suspicious area. When do you have your follow up appt. with this Dr.?

Re the swelling in your ankles? Have you had this before? If yes, what was it from? If no, I'd report this to your Dr.!! ASAP Watch your water and salt intake, and limit your outdoor exposure if it's been too warm. All of this can alter your electrolytes in your system and cause some of these problems. Are you on a diuretic now? Just wondering. Just remember where 'salt goes, water follows'...

Re injury? Where did you hurt yourself?? Where is the lump? If you bumped something hard, it could cause a small hematoma (bump) with bruising-are you on Aspirin and Plavix? That might help the bruising spread more. You are right to have the nurse to check this out!! Good Luck, Barb!!

Hi Teri, I think all was well from what I can remember after I go back on the 16th of June to see him. I normaly have some swelling because of tissue damage when I was in an accident at age 16 but this was more than the normal. I'm wondering if it could be because of my monthly cycle, but even then it doesn't usually swell that much. It did this though a few months back when I had that infection in my foot and they put me on a bp med that was also a diuretic. Can't remember what it was though. Have to call the drug store to see. I ran the fender of our small trailer we pull behind the van into my leg. It's very nasty looking. It's been in the 80's up here. I'm loving that. Summer is the best time of year. Well I really do need to get to bed. I'm sleeping in until 8 or 8:30 because it is normaly my day off so I get to pick when to come in. I told her 10am. Talk to you tomorrow. Barb

Barb, a fender?!  Yuck-no wonder it's nasty-just be careful with it!-and keep your Dr. informed of the feet swelling!!

I talked to my brother in Wis. yesterday and he was telling me about the lovely 80 degree temps up there. tongue   Enjoy it!

PS After having the bout of heart failure last week and then a cold hit me on top of it...I took a week off from the bird shop and until I went grocery shopping yesterday, I've been lazing around...so today I'm going to try about an hour or so there and see how things go! I'll be checking in later on today...ya'll take care!

I am like Teri now with my congestive heart failure acting up doing what my cardio said to do but wanted to share this with you i thought it was cute and reminds me some day I need my first cup of coffee in the Am.

I love that, Heidi!! I always say, 'Good Morning, Lord!!' :) When you have times with health problems cropping up-you never know from one day to the next-so you just value each one!

I made it in to the pet store and handled some of the exotic birds...found out that we had some new arrivals-2 baby macaws! So big already! :) But with a cold, they say it can be passed to the baby birds now, so I just handled the big older birds today-especially one particular Amazon that seems to dislike most everyone and even bit the owner (bad bird!) :) but comes pretty readily to me-but I can't take them all home with me! One hour and a half and that was it for me...had to come back home and rest.

Heidi, you take care of yourself, friend!!

hey yuo all I will need prayers Thursday at 11:40 am seeing doctor  and will post when I know more so just keep me in yur prayers ok i need them trying to kep busy. right now it is 94 utside heat index well over 100 and hunidity so high too thank God i am inside.

Painted my bedroom a bright sunshine yellow color will do touch up painting tomorrow too.

This thread is getting really long (180+ posts) and difficult for new members to follow, please start a new thread, preferably more shorter threads, instead of one long one, which are less cumbersome for members to follow.
