There have been some recent articles out about apples being a great antioxidant helping to ward off some diseases, including being beneficial to heart disease.
For some reason, I've developed a real craving in the past month or so for Red Delicious apples and low and behold I read today, that these are the best apples for you-especially if you eat the skin! It's always nice to know that I'm doing something good for my health! lol
The articles did stress however, that you should be eating the skin and if you absolutely don't like the skin and avoid it at all costs, to try eating, Northern Spy, Cortland, followed by once again, The Red Delicious Apples.
