Braain fog folks abuot the chat forgive me I get forgetfull with everything I have ben giong through.  Se yuo all next thursday if Franklin hasnot kicked power out  ok.

brain fog (that's a little joke). 

it seems to be an everyday presence in my life.  i'm trying to blame my constant fogginess on drugs...

I'm waiting for them to call with an appt. However, the nurse told me if I don't hear within a week to call her back? :)

Libby, I think we'll have to have a discussion about "brain fogs" down the road...it should make interesting chat room discussions - if we could remember! lol

I'm up again as usual, this time I'm making a bean mixture for BabyToo tonight. :) It's actually very tasty and extremely healthy for us as well! I just made a huge batch of split peas, garbanzo beans, pinto beans, great northern beans and blackeyed peas with garlic powder, fresh minced garlic, and crushed red pepper. The big Parrots and Cockatoos just love it!! (I'll bag and freeze it tomorrow, so it's done for the month!)

the beans sound lovely!  i love beans.  i make a mean "texas caviar" that i enjoy year 'round, not just new years -

teri, i HATE that:  that message, if you don't hear back from us call us in a week.  why, thanks a lot, that shows you really care, jeez!  i hate that.  while you feel awful, wonder, etc., you are supposed to just sit quietly and wait for them to help.  sigh.

why are you up so late?  i can take it, seasoned night owl veteran that i am, but you need more rest than me, i'll betcha!

Hi a hot and humid afternnon hey libby share yur recipie with us  it sounds good. Maybe even Baby Too can eat it.  Yes Teri we could have a discussion on Brain Fogs what causes it how long wev've had it and when it is the worst ? But don't put me in charge of it let yu or Kayhlyn do it or how about nominating Libby

I am doing ok still cried once today.

We are watching Franklin they still donot know what way it will go adn then Gert too out near the gulf. Hey folks it is not even August or Sept yet our most peak months and then Ind haveing heat and humidity too.

You all take care I'll check in later on today.

Getting use to haveing  Computer in den room cannot listen to radio have to listen to the constat Tv ! I get tired of hearing it all the time sometimes I even like peace and quiet but not my otherhalf he likes TV on all the time on sounds 28-31 & I can hear it on 12 or less. He refuses to get his hearing checked oh well come fall my puter ging back in the back till then I can paint both rooms and do it up my way it willbe done in a almond color paint and  Wolf Motif too.

Libby, late night here is sooo peaceful. lol Though, I'm tired, my mind isn't... :) PS Send us the bean recipe!!

Heidi, this has been a hard week for you and now another long one coming up! I'm so glad that you have such a great attitude about life in general - it's one of your greatest assets!! :)

Yes folks I have all of next wek at Doctors appointments except Friday whew I willbe beat aaaaaaaaaaand all at 1 pm to 1:20 so I'll give an update each afternoon from all my doctors and those folowing my saga for my breast mass the long awited test is Thursday at 1:20 pm.

I feel so darn stupid!

I was walking back to the back bathroom in the dark hallway of course for light switch is on the other side nearer the hall bathroom redface   not where it shuld go. Needledss to say I fell on something wet in the hall nono nd now on the left side of my right knee is swoled adn then the size of a quarter  black and blue Uck nono Siting hre with an ice cube on it will go soak it in some epsom slats and  rest on the recliner boy does it g hurt when i walk.

 

I am plumb falling apart now ???????????????

Tell my doctor about it on Mon and my other doctor on Tues too.

Will rest and do some clothes tomorrow. Glad I have an extra set of crutches here if it is that bad. but so far not just swollen and hurts on my left side of my knee cap. I feel so darn stupid.

Yep it does hurt some took a bath soaaaked it in epsom salts then ice cubes  on it for 3 hours swelling is going down but it will be  a real pretty balck and blue  right on the left side of my knee cap walking bcak in the dark hallway to use bathroom and  light switch is back their for the hall and stepped in something wet.  Well got to go to bed yes I'll keep you all updated about my visits too and then call some of my friends too.

heidi, heidi, my dumpling, please be careful!  are you on blood thinners?  if you're like me you're covered in bruises.  i felt sorry for darren at the hospital - they all thought perhaps he had been "manhandling" me, i've got bruises everywhere at all times, i'm the clumsiest ox on the block! 

so what's the best way to do the bean recipe?  should i just type it here, or should i start a recipe thread again?

Libby, there is a recipe thread somewhere here called healthy recipes? Barb, had started it...perhaps add onto that? If you can't find it, just start a new one! :)

Re bruising- I'm on aspirin and Plavix...when I work with the birds, yes, sometimes I do get bit...however it's the big birds like cockatoos, amazons and macaws when I have them on my arms just sitting, the weight from them pushes their claws down and leaves my arms looking like tracks...my husband told me that he's afraid people will think he did it! lol I told him I didn't think so, as he'd have to have pretty small fingers! :)

My knee is all pretty black and blue now on the side of my knee and the scrape is still their and a dab swollen I am glad I got Dr appointments next wek that will be good let my PCP look at. maybe no x-ray's just hurts when i get on my knees to pick something up or get something uot of  bopttom cabinet.

Awww, Heidi, that doesn't sound very comfortable!! I'm glad someone will be able to take a look at it too!

We've had all kinds of rain here today and boy did we need it! It's still dark out and storms around us...my daughter went with the other high school band drill capt.s, section leaders and band directors to San Antonio today and won't be home til about 2 AM. I hope that they were able to have some 'fun' time! I went into the shop for a couple of hrs., but have edema in legs, mainly in the left one and with the weather the nerve pain is sort of uncomfortable. So that was enough for me! :)

now you take it easy or like you told me I'llbe in texas if I culd and tie yuo down to a chair to. we both make a couple don't we swollen leg and swollen knee tongue   I know they hurt us but hey folks it beats the alternative too. no storms but they are all around us and gone now we do need rain.

I am ging to  jon the red hat society and wer pink till I turn 50 next yeqar and then I can wear red and purple too. well i gto my name a nice royal name

Love it and our  Red hat group is called the scarlett O'hatters a southern name I also like that for my rescue from Nassau Humane is  named scarlett O'hara changed it from granny and she is  so cute old too about 7 or 8 maybe even 9 and has very very selective hgearing. doing ok geting ready for all my doctor appointments next week just wanted to share my name for the red hat society the Queen told me I do have a kind heart and am a angel in disguise I like that I blushed when she told me that. well got to go wash and flea  dip the dogs then put them on their bio spot drops and then  wash my hair after that.

it is hot and humid here too  . I am resting need to fold up a load of clothes and then color hair for tomorrow and Thursday afternoon go get it cut or friday. will let ya all know what happens. yes Libby Teri and I are resting today.

Morning all off to doctor appt one out of 4 this week today is Thyroid Tues is PCp wed is cardiac and THursday my long awaited expidited mammogram whew and hot this week up to 97 today and heat index 112-115 is awul. but will be inside truck with ac on.
