Good Morning,I suspect that anxiety is your problem as you posted, "I've been really worried about having coronary artery disease."
The main tests your doctor uses to check your risk for getting heart disease include:
- Blood pressure. High blood pressure increases your risk for heart disease.
- Cholesterol (a blood test). High cholesterol increases your risk for heart disease.Your doctor will use your blood pressure, cholesterol, and other risk factors such as your age and if you smoke, to know your risk of heart disease.
If your doctor thinks you may have heart disease, you will need some tests to make sure. Most often, the first tests include:
It feels to me like your Dr. covered all the bases and when the test results came in he felt you did not have a heart problem.
Your should be reassured, by your DR. examination and the test results, that you probably do not have coronary artery disease.
You can always seek out a second opinion if that would help you feel better.
Please remember I am not a physician.
Kindly,
Kitt
