should I worry??

I work for an internal medicine Dr's office. For the past 2-3 days I have had a complete decrease in appetite, nausea and vomit, light dizziness, problems focusing and talking, & just today started feeling chest pressure with some light numbness to my Left arm. I have hypertension but had already taken my med. I decided to have one of my coworkers do an ekg on me for my own peace of mind. In the past they have always been normal. This time my ecg test read sinus rhythm with short pr interval atypical ecg. The head MA showed concern but our nurse practitioner blew it off as indegestion. Even with my symptoms. Should I worry?? Please help!

I would strongly suggest you talk to your Dr. if he is the same as the one your work for your in the right place.

Doing tests on each other can cause lots of problems as the test is stored in the system and if you do have something wrong you did not obtain a Medical Drs. opinion to perform the ECG or have a professional read it and write a report.

We often get into problems when we start testing ourselves. I know as I have seen this happen with some of my medical staff.

TY... ur right... im gonna set up a real appt to see doc monday and tjen have him order an echocardiogram also. We do those in our office too... my nausea has passed after 3 days but the light headedness and slight chest discomfort seems to linger.
