hi rrettakay,
my HW friend, hang in there. i was reading your first posting about living each day to the fullest and happiest. i know that's hard to maintain sometimes, i have the same problem. i tell myself every day how lucky i am for the day. we are all here with you, praying for you, wishing you well, i know i speak for all us HW friends when i say that. write whenever you can/want to, i find that being on here and sharing helps me so much. i hope you get into the cleveland clinic asap -

Stopping in to say Hi...
I'm still trying to get some answers as to what to do.... I have a dear friend that would call or I would call her when i needed that little push she would sit up late at night knowing she would only get a few hours of sleep before having to get up everyday at 4:30am to go to work. she never complained at all about staying yo to talk.
well last Friday she had to be Lifelined to Indianapolis for a ruptured brain aneurysms!!! she is still in ICU but she is starting to move around a little bit and had opened her eyes 2 times yesterday. we won't know for a few weeks how thhis has affected her.
I wnat to go and see her but it's 1 1/2 hour drive for me! my husband doesn't want me to go because of the effect it may have on me, since my brain aneurysm is at this point inoperable. it's pretty scary for me to think what I may find when I get there. I think when I found this info out, I pretty much fell apart. this wan't suppose to happen to someone that was my rock!
they are keeping her in a medicated coma to help her brain to heal. the doctor stated to the family that if she keeps inproving at this rate in her 2 week window time frame without stroking, her chances of a 100% recovery are very good!
