your thursday night plans sound exciting - we will miss you but have a great time.

nope, the old digestive tract is giving me fits.  mostly i think it's from so many previous abdominal surgeries and i have tons of adhesions, so not much they can really do about that.  as predicted over the years, they are starting to really give me probs with other organs too, adhesing their nasty little way around my entire gut.  ugh.  sometimes pain is manageable, sometimes as you know it'ain't.

meanwhile...glad to see so many others checking in, which let's my mind rest easier knowing our little family is hanging in and doing OK.  i'll hope to be on thursday night, unless i take my mom out for dinner, in which case i might not be able to be on.  just don't know yet -

OUr phone man just left I had to have a new phone jack installed  in the back bedroom  free since we pay $4.25 a month for inside wiresing maintance if not  hold on to yuor hats $90 for half an nhor of labor then $75 for new jack whew I am glad I did  it and pay each month.

Yes  before yuask he was a  hunk a married hunk that goes tot ha same church we have belonged to for 23  years and him and his wife 5 years small world I say.

I am so happy thrilled beyond allmy imagination as many of you nkow I am a Vol with our Jacksonville Fire Rescue  units here in FLorida to help out during any type of emergency's CERT= Community emergency Response Team well i will help teach a course in Oct on the  proper way to use and  assist with AED's and also other courses the new members will take our First Aid, infant,child ,adult one and two man CPr and First Aide and  AED"s and  I get to help with AEd's and my husband told me he has to take orders from me  now on that day. I love it   but being picked to help out our Fire and rescue dept to help asist to teach the proper way to use AED's to a class makes me so happy i want to jump up and down.

First day of school down!  After an absolutly delightful meeting at the high school, I learned that I shouldn't let a child bleed into an open wound (if I have one) and, should I get a bodily fluid in my eyes, I shouldn't clean my eyes with bleach.  They actually said the bleach thing on the video I watched.  The entire gymnasium full of teachers cracked up at that.  I could have spent that time in my classroom.  The only good thing was that I did get to attend Mass.  But aside from that...I want those two hours of my life back!!!  lol

Libby, yes I do take something for anxiety.  I'm on zoloft for GAD (and I'm beginning to think I'm doing the depression thing again so I'm glad that zoloft will help with that.)  I also have obessive compulsive disorder and Zoloft helps with that!  I like zoloft.  :D  For acute anxiety attacks, I have ativan...take 1/2-1 pill depending on what's going on.  I need to get a refill on that though.

I teach third grade.  I don't know how many kids I'll have yet.  We have a faculty meeting today so we should find out our class list and schedule.  I can't wait to see who I have.  I hope I have good parents!!!

hi teri,

a question.  you mentioned that you had a lot of info on fish oil supplements.  can you please give me a summary of your thoughts.  and perhaps point me in the direction of some reliable articles on same?  i hear pros and cons, but that seems to be true of EVERYTHING.  is there truly a danger?  i hear mostly of them helping or being totally benign, but not dangerous.  you mentioned potential bleeding.  that would seem a great concern for some of us who are already on blood thinners, like plavix.

 Barb I fel for you husband had one about 3 years ago and drank a small btle of stuff just donot clear  yur throat much and  stay near a bathroom ok. Best of luck we will be praying for you.
