Strep Throat causes heart problems?

Had strep throat back in February of this year. It lasted for almost two months! Tried everything to get rid of it, several rounds of antibiotics and even steroids couldn't beat it. It somehow went away on it's own but weeks after that t felt like I'd had a heart attack. I've had s many problems since then. An EKG only showed ''Trace Mitral Regurgitation'' along with ''Mild Tricuspid Regurgitation''.

Does anybody know if the strep could have made an impact on my heart? I'm almost positive I have it again and am really worried about this...
