I am a 21 year old female and for about
a year now I have been experiencing chest pain and palpitations. I have been seeing a cardiologist and Ive spent so much money doing test after test only for them to keep telling me they don't know what is wrong with me. I've had a 48hr event monitor and they said I have some PAC's and Winkebach ( a type of minor heart block) But nothing to explain the pain and palpitations. Ive had an echo, chest x ray, CT scan, CTA and all normal. I even did a 30 day event monitor and that showed that I get really Tachycardac. I don't think that it is stress because I could be doing absolutely nothing and I will get the pain and when I am really stressed at work I feel fine. The pain isnt constant, it comes and goes and there is really no predicting when it will happen.
The pain is a really sharp pain and it almost takes my breath away. It doesn't last very long the longest I've ever had it last was about an hour. It gets really painful and annoying but I dont ever go to the ER because I know they will just tell me everything is normal consult your cardiolgist. They cant give me any beta blockers for the Tachycardia because I have extremely low BP. Sometimes it drops in the 70's or 80's.
I just got the results from the CTA ( a cat scan of the arteries and vessels of the heart) and they said it all looked normal and to see someone else because they don't think its cardiac related.
Please, does anybody have any history or advice? I am about to just give up because I can't keep affording all these tests and I'm just starting to feel crazy.
