I had a heart cath on Thursday of last week , and they found that I had a Myocardial bridge, where the LAD does not lay on top of the heart muscle, but in fact is between and under it, so that every time it contracts, it cuts off the blood supply and lessons the oxygen supply to my blood and also to my muscles and such. I was wondering if anyone else deals with this and the pain that goes with it. The man that diagnosed me with it said that I needed to lose weight ( I am 5'7" and weigh 175) and get active. Another question is this.. if I get active again, and it cuts down on my oxygen and such and hurts, isnt that going against trying to help this????????? Any advice would be great. I am thinking of getting a second opinion. Thanks so much.
