Hi
Yesterday I was taken by ambulance to the ER, who let me out hours later, telling me that they could find nothing wrong.
I had experienced near syncope when I go up from a supine position. My heart was speeding up from 75 to 140(diagnosed with IST/POTS so high pulse is normal), then fell down to 80 then started upwards again, alle within a matter of seconds.
I layed down and tried to stand up again and the same thing happened where I feel extremely dizzy like I am going to pass out.
When I was laying down my heart would beat VERY hard and at a rate of about 120. It would also say rythmic gurgling sounds.
When the paramedics came I had taken beta blokers which seemed to have helped. I was in sinus rhytm with borderline normal ecg, showing junctional st depression and qt of 296. My blood pressure as 165/100. Is this qt not short and indicative of danger for sudden death?
Anybody has any thoughts on what happened?
