Hello, I'm looking for some information on EKG results.
My husband, 61 y.o, went for pre-surgery testing for a knee replacement last March. He was told he had an abnormal EKG and to speak to his PCP about
it the next time he was there. So he finally has gone back to the PCP and he talked to him about
it, but he didn't have the EKG report in front of him, said he would obtain them and be in touch.
In today's mail, he received a copy of the EKG. If someone could help us on understanding it, we both would appreciate it, as it's a Saturday and can't call his doctor. He's concerned.
"Sinus or ectopic atrial rhythm
Right axis deviation
Non-specific T abnormalities, lateral leads
Borderline ST elevation, anterior leads
Consider epicardial injury"
On edit, I'm adding more information.
HR 62, PR 176, QRSD 100, QT 404, QTc 441. AXIS - P -73, QRS 103, T 91
I've tried to look it up and understand it, but I have no prior experience with EKG's and it's way above my pay grade. Thanks.
Candace
