A few months ago I went to the hospital when I woke up in the middle of the night from feeling an intense pressure on my chest. I was concerned, since I'm a 21 year old female, and I had never felt anything like this before, considering it woke me up out of a dead sleep.
When I went to the hospital, they gave me an EKG, a chest x-ray, and an aspirin. Four hours later they gave me a xanax to lower my heartrate and told me I probably just had an anxiety attack. Except, I know what anxiety attacks feel like because I used to have them all the time. This felt absolutely nothing like that, especially since I wasn't anxious at all, like not even in the slightest.
I just found my EKG results and a few things concerned me that they never seemed to address. I had experienced similar symptoms since my hospital visit, but never went back because I didn't want to have to pay another $2,000 for them to tell me I was overreacting.
Can someone tell me if the results of this EKG is concerning enough for me to schedule an appointment with a cardiologist?
