Awful Migraines after SVT Ablation

Need some help. I had an ablation about a week ago for SVT. They put me on Beta Blockers (Metropol?) to take for the next four weeks. I took it for four days and then stopped because I was getting extremely tired during the day and would get super nauseas at night. Now, three days after stopping the beta blocker, I am getting the worst migraines I have ever had. I also feel a little depressed and have no energy to do anything. Will these symptoms go away? How long do they last?

Discuss with dr. Never discontinue a med without medical advice. Esp beta blockers! Those initial effects are common in start up.

start up effects usually happen and subside. This is your body getting used to this new bugger getting about. Speak with doc. Many other blockers that may work better for you. HT

Thank you HT. I just had an ocular migraine that lasted about 20 min. I think I am about to go to the ED because these migraines are not subsiding

I suffered savagely as a teen wirh migraines. Mine was a from a definitive dx of a certain abnormality that subsided with treatment.

Eye test. Eyes can be problematic other stuff Dr's will check out. Many treatment options. Let us know how ut goes. Keep strong. HT
