Hi, i am new to this, this is my first post and i hope some one out there may help me. I am 44 and have just found out i have a hole in my heart! I have been in hospital lots of times and no one picked up on it. Apparently it is the hole that faces my lung. I will find out soon if i have to have heart surgery. But how has it been missed for all these years i am baffled?! Any one that can help me? thank you any way for reading this

Hello. A lot of the times these things are missed because there was no reason to go looking. Like, it may not have caused symptoms. And also, only special types of tests are able to pick something like that up. Were you having symptoms
