Sinus Tachycardia and chest pain

Hi guys...has anyone ever had this before (sinus tachycardia) which from what I was told is a fast heart rate but normal rythym. A couple days after I had the episode I developed chest pain. Its on and off and almost feels like something strained. Do you think its possible after working my heart so hard with the tachycardia that a couple days later my heart or chest would feel pain.
