My 15 yr old very athletic son was just diagnosed with non sustained V-Tach most likely caused by left ventricular non compaction cardiomyopathy (not completely diagnosed yet). One electrical conduction specialist has turned him down for a cardiac ablation. We are waiting to hear from another specialist on this. Of course he is now out of all sports which has been life changing for all of us. Anyone else know anything about
left ventricular non compaction cardiomyopathy and V-tach???? I have 3 other kids that all have the same left ventricular abnormality but with normal heart function...so far. I am a nurse but first and foremost a mother. I have already lost one son due to a non heart related birth defect and don't want to lose another.
Thank you for any assistance!
