I have had problems lately with food coming back up four or five hours after meals.  This only seems to happen after a refux episode. Does anyone else get these symptoms?

Yes, this happens to me just about every night. Regurgitation essentially what GERD is.

I get regurgitation also. In fact, I've had this symptom as long as I can remember. Orange juice caused it when I was a kid. Now I get regurgitation when I try to burp in order to relieve gas.

I had this problem ALL THE TIME. Granted it started with my pregnancy, but never went away. I would wake up in the middle of the night practically vomiting....no fun!  I would have to not drink much or eat much after 6pm for it NOT to happen. I also was placed on protonix and still had problems....I also had a very large hiatal hernia....I'm 9 weeks post lap nissen and hiatal hernia surgery, and now I have no problems.

Hi, I know your pain.  I have the most horrendous case of acid reflux.  Almost everything I eat regurgitates back into my mouth.  It is the most disgusting affliction from the pitts of hell.  I am so sorry u have to suffer with this

Yes, it comes with a burp, after eating. Not all the time, though. It's how I know I've eaten too much, whatever too much is.

Hey I am the same as Terry and it will happen in the middle of the night when I am sleeping. I will wake up choking on regurgitation.  Scary.
