Nausea??

Has anyone had constant nausea becasue of their GERD or uler?? I have been sick to my stomach everyday for about a year now since having to take antibitoics for Lyme disease! My Dr thought it was a side effect from the antiboitics and now that it's getting worse over the past several weeks to the point I cant drive without feeling sick and had to take a leave from work. I went to a GI Dr last week and she seems to think it's GERD or and ulcer and gave me Prevacid to take until I got for an endoscopy on Tuesday, which i'm not looking forward to! It's a horrible feeling to feel sick to your sotmach all day and I also get dizzy a lot and feel fatigued and just sick! Does anyone else ever feeel this way??

Hi Gabby and Jessi. Yes, I have nausea practically 24/7 with my GERD. I've had it for almost a year now. I've tried all the PPI's and none of them work for me. Right now, I'm taking Zegerid 2 x's/day and getting 20-30% relief. NOT NEARLY ENOUGH! My doctor is considering sending me for a Nissan - another Bravo pH test to do first though. Keep looking for answers from your doc. I'm not giving up until I get this resolved. What tests have you had and what medicines have you tried? Hang in there - we'll get through this.
