Hi TammyGrl0528,
You may be right about stacyb. She posted the same message to another heartburn forum, and never re-posted. That moderator allowed stacyb's post to contain the website of the Dr. Garber, who performs the Esophyx procedure.
Dr. Garber told me he performed Esophyx on 20 patients, and that they are all doing "fine". Too bad the procedure is so new. Hard for me to make a decision. Esophyx is a lot less invasive than a fundo lap, but who knows what the long term results and potential negatives are. Also, although the manufacturers website says that the procedure is reversible, the Doctor said it isnt. One can have a fundo if Esophyx fails, but since Esophyx is so new, I bet there arent any Drs out there that have done esophyx followed by fundo.
