Hi ballysmom52,
Potatoes have worked for me, and applesauce. Eating non processed, and relatively bland foods has also helped. I love your list, I eat the same things. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for your input. Just curious did you have a manometry? If so, what were the results? Any info on it is very much appreciated.
Thanks again!!
ballysmom52,
I just recently had a Lap Hill Hiatal Hernia repair and have suffered esophageal spasms post op. I had the motility study pre surgery and post surgery along with a barium swallow study. My results are that I have very limited motility mid and lower esophagus. Has not been very fun! I have been limited to clear liquids. Even things like applesaue are hard for me to swallow. With the clear liquids, I have to take them very very slow and sometimes can't handle the pain. I was in the hospital for about 17 days. I have lost over 25 pounds and currently have a PIKK line (peripherally inserted central catheter) in my right arm and have to have TPN feedings (Total Parenteral Nutrition) because I can't get enough nutrition.
