Boniva is an oral drug that is used for treating osteoporosis. As one of the "bone building" drugs that are supposed to "reverse the effects of osteoporosis", Boniva can cause serious heartburn. This should be reported to your doctor immediately.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It seems like so many medications have nasty side effects however each person reacts differently to the medications.
