Good for you Janice. I'm glad that your so satisfied with things right now. You a strong wonderful lady! Also kudos to your husband as well, I know it must be difficult for him to see you going through this.

I'm so glad you've found surgeons that you can talk to and feel comfortable with. It's good that you searched out an alternative. I'm glad that you and your husband feel comfortable with your new direction! Hope you're finding time to enjoy the summer and getting some R&R!

Hi everyone, my computer is all better now...I had viruses, 5 of em! I run Symantec every week as well as spybot and I still had them. Anyway, my computer is old, but feeling much better.

So, here's the update on me...we met with a wonderful new surgeon; she spent a lot of time with us, told us stuff my old one never did and showed us areas where there could be more cancer too, and now the reconstructions spl. office and her office are coordinating. I meet with the recon dr. on Thursday (he was on vacation when we met with his nurse..and incredible woman ...she must have learned from Kitt!) and now we're meting with him. I expect I should have a date soon.

I'm at the point now where I just want to get this thing going, over and done!

I'll write more later!

Glad to hear that you've found a surgeon you like. That's a huge step, and an important one. I'm sure you're ready to get things moving at this point. Good luck getting the dates and times you want for your surgery.

Sometimes the waiting is the worst, right? I know when I had my back fusion, once I had made the decision I just wanted it over with so I could move forward with healing. So I hope you can get on your healing road ASAP. Your computer got healed. That's a good sign! smilewinkgrin

I hope you're enjoying our silliness. But you don't have a face yet! Maybe Kitt can pick one for you, but maybe the guest of honor should be allowed to pick her own.

Denise - I am dizzy. turn turn turn I think we need to have a little curtain in a corner of the sandbox we can go to when we get too dizzy from watching Denise spin!!

Janice - I'm thrilled to hear that your comfortable with your doctor. I know that makes a huge different to be facing a surgery with a caring doctor that fits right with you instead of one that you just don't jive with.

I understand the hurry up and wait issue. Geeze I really think it builds up the anxiety levels like the nose tube tests did with me.

But I learned to stop and take deep breathes when I'm panicking a little and work through it. That's what my wonderful friends on here helped me with during my melt down.

I'm here giving you a big hug Janice.
