I have to take the 24 ph test and memtrics test on tuesday, so i'm 2 days off the pill (nexium) and between the antiacids and me barely eating anything my stomach is on fire.  Now my doctor wants me to come back in before i take those other tests because he thinks i might have parasites?! O_o  He said based on my symptoms i might.  Now i'm confused....

  Has anyone ever been told this?!

no but i have stomach problems and when I take any kind of nexium or antacids i get cramps very low and feel worse I think all those pill are worse for us. I went to homeopathic doc. and he told me I was Gluten intolerant so I quit eating wheat and feel better

wat type of foods are gluten free? where'd u find that doc?

Partial List of Gluten Free Foods:

Fresh meat Fish and shellfish Poultry and game
Vegetables Fresh herbs Fruit
Dried fruit Nuts Eggs
Cheese Cottage cheese (not cheese spreads) Milk (when newly diagnosed you may be lactose intolerant)
Dried beans, peas and pulses Vegetable oils, sunflower oil, olive oil Almonds, ground or whole
Rice, ground, long or short grain Rice cakes/crackers Rice flour (and other gluten free flours)
Yeast Cream of tartar Bicarbonate of soda

I know when is topped prilosec my stomach burned gurgled everything you can name it did for 2 months just about after prilosec.


I dont think iw ould ever take thatmedicine again my stomach hated me for months and still isnt completly normal the way it was be4 i took the medicine.


I havent took the medicine for atleast 5 months.

I am sorry to hear of the issues you had with Prilosec and I understand why you would not want to use it again.

Meanwhile what are you doing to control your GERD/Heartburn?
