Welcome, I'm sorry to say GERD is forever unless you have surgery.
Even then there's a chance of it coming back.
Instead of propping up on pillows, which puts pressure on your stomach, raise the head of your bed 6 inches. You can find bed risers at any dept. store.
I have silent GERD and I can eat most of the foods you list, but some people have trouble with them. Sample a little at a time and see which you can tolerate. Over doing them can cause big trouble, so be careful.
I'm a belly sleeper also, but after I was placed on a CPAP I had to learn to sleep on my side. Misery isn't it.
If you want to know more about the surgery options (Nissen or Esophyx) you can read older threads about the procedures others have experienced. You can also view video of both procedures on youtube. I personally am going for the Esophyx procedure this fall. I hope this can help answer some of your questions.
