Yep I had a lot of scar tissue also. But no amount of dilation was going to fix mine since it was done completely wrong and not just "tight" as they thought. I did get the very sharp pains for a few days after the dilations, but not the swelling. I think the last one they did hurt for close to 2 weeks. I am going to avoid any dilations I can this time around. So far so good. I do have an EGD Thursday to check the Barretts, but i also made sure to tell them I want nothing to do with any dilations even if they "feel" it is tight.
