I haven't been able to drink regular (i.e. fully caffeinated) coffee for the last three years now because it triggers massive panic attacks and seems to make my whole body go haywire.
I spent many years believing that I had had panic attacks; the way things have developed over the last year have caused me to rethink that idea.
My first panic attack occurred many years ago when I was working in restaurant on a slow night and had spent the entire night drinking cranberry juice, pineapple juice and orange juice, and finally topped it off with as convenience store hamburger.
Since coffee is one of the biggest contributors to reflux attacks, it may not be a panic attack your having; although the mental portion amounts to the same thing.
I never knew that acid reflux caused breathing problems until recently, when it started causing me ongoing and chronic problems.
It was this site that lead me to that revelation, and I have had too look back over the last 20 years and rethink All of the symptoms and conditions that I thought I had.
This may seems off the subject of the original thread, but it really does seem to me that its all tied together.
