I sure do understand your starting to worry about the what ifs but try to focus on what’s right in front of you, push all other thoughts out of your mind.
Anticipatory anxiety is where a person experiences increased levels of anxiety by thinking about an event or situation in the future. The worries you experience specifically focus on what you think might happen, often with catastrophic predictions about the event. So kick the anxiety to the curb as much as you can and stay in the moment, right here, right now.
I wish you luck and hope that your recovery is swift. I also hope you work out a way to find someone to help you with your son.
