Yeah, I've lost almost 20 since my surgery. I'm eating smaller meals, too. I'm trying to keep my meals very small so I don't gain back my to my old weight.

Congrats on the weight loss! I usually hear that it's best to lose 1-2 lbs per week, but if you're very overweight you could lose it a bit faster. If you're worried you might mention it to your doctor at your next visit, but it sounds like you're eating a pretty low-calorie diet so I'm not surprised you're losing weight quickly!
I've lost a lot of weight due to GERD; unfortunately, I was already fairly slender and did not need to lose most of that weight.... Initially I believe I lost some weight because the GERD made me too nauseaus to eat much on some days. My weight stabilized for a while, then I lost more weight when I changed my diet (smaller meals, avoiding certain foods) and my doctor also believes that anxiety could have played a role in the weight loss too. Having GERD makes it very difficult for me to find the right balance between eating meels that are small enough to not cause GERD symptoms but large enough I can keep my weight up! I was probably eating more calories than you are right now and still losing weight ;)

Yea I went and did a fairly quick calorie count and I am running between 800 to 1200 calories a day. I am a 25 year old male that runs around all day outside for work so I know I am definitely not consuming as many calories as I need to. I have an abundance of doctor appointments for the next two months. 1 ENT, 2 Pulminary (one breathing test one meeting with the doctor), 1 GI specialist. I am hoping to get this thing nailed down so I can start trying to live my life again and stop worrying about
all the new changes in my life. I think acceptance is half the battle...

I think you should try to stick to at least 1200 - 1500 calories per day as that is a safe zone. 800 calories is to low. Just my opinion and what I have learned from nutritionist and dieticians of which my DIL happen to be one.
Take care,
Kitt
